How to make Tea

To make a pot of good tea, you need to consider the quality of water, the temperature of water and the volume of water.

1. The quality of water
You should use fresh water. And the water should contain as less mineral as possible.
2. The temperature of water
There are different adequate temperatures of water for different kinds of tea. For most of tea, the adequate temperature is almost 100oC. (better in 80~90℃)
3. The volume of water
There are different adequate volumes of water for different kinds of tea. 75% of the volume of the teapot may acceptable.
In General, the tea can be drunk after 1 minute（60~90 second） when the water was poured. Water can be poured for more than one time (usually 3 to 4 times) on the same tea leaves. And the tea should be drunk after more than 1 minute for the second and more times of water pouring.
1. The first pour
- 50% of the substance of tea leaves would be diffused
- 80% of Vitamin C, Amino acid and Caffeine of tea leaves would be diffused
2. The second pour
- 30% of the substance of tea leaves would be diffused
- 15% of Vitamin C, Amino acid and Caffeine of tea leaves would be diffused
3. The third pour
- 10% of the substance of tea leaves would be diffused
- 5% of Vitamin C, Amino acid and Caffeine of tea leaves would be diffused

Suggestion:
1. Mix 1st and 2nd pour for drink.
2. To let less of Caffeine diffuse, you should mention the temperature of water do not over 90℃ and pouring the tea from pot after 1 minute.

QING MING DAY

"A Chinese Traditional Festival, darling. Just like Chinese New Year, we celebrate with our family together, Lantern Festivel, we eat moon cake, Dragon Boat Festival, we eat Rice Dumpling... Qing Ming..."

As a Mother of 2, I felt how my M-I-L felt. If this were to happen between my children,I would be rather upset too.
The only time when our family stick really closed together during the period she was diagnosewith very serious illinesses which required organ transplant from the closest kin.
I see Kinship among the sibling during that time. But seems that this does not last.
I just miss those days when whole family went out for gathering.Is not about good food or bad food, is about family.

An experimental stem cell treatment has enabled patients with type 1 diabetes to go for as long as four years without insulin injections, researchers say.
A US-Brazilian project with 23 patients found most were able to produce their own insulin after a transplant of stem cells from their own bone marrow.
Even those who relapsed needed less insulin than before.
But writing in the journal JAMA, the team warned the treatment may only work in those very recently diagnosed.
The treatment is designed to stop the immune systems of those with type 1 diabetes, a condition which usually develops in childhood, from mistakenly destroying the cells which create insulin.
To measure its effectiveness, team from Northwestern University in the US and the Regional Blood Centre in Brazil, looked at levels of C-peptides, which show how well the body is producing insulin.
Twenty of the 23 patients who received the treatment became insulin-free - one for as long as four years. Eight had to return to insulin injections, but at reduced levels.
The treatment did not work in three of the patients, and it was also unlikely to work in patients more than three months after diagnosis of diabetes, said Dr Richard Burt of Northwestern. This was because by this stage, the immune system had destroyed the body's islet cells.
It was also unlikely to be have any therapeutic benefits for those with type 2 diabetes, mainly associated with obesity, as these patients still make insulin.

well, as it turns out, it was me who needed her the most. i think if the test of the greatest among us is the one who will be the servant, than penny wins in this house...ok, animal people...i get it. i really really get it.

Buoy dinner: i kind of snack or have a lunch type meal again. dinner is tricky because i still need to prepare dinner for my family. so i do. but i'm not super hungry at night so i just eat whatever. broccoli, a little of what they're having, or snacky stuff, or chicken wings, or crispy thin crust pizza. but! i always end the day with a low carb ice cream bar.

Taking the valentines, happy girl i bet that block is not nearly as big as i remember it being, but i remember it being quite a trip. my problem, dear anne, is that it is 2009. kids don't like to get all fussied up anymore, and i don't think they would go to the trouble of making up stories about lost broaches to be able to go to a silly church picnic. in my mind the little girls are wearing spring dresses and holding parasols with their gloved hands while the boys are eating biscuits and drinking homemade rootbeer with their hats and suspenders on. but i live in a dreamland where i want everything stylized. i know you understand me, anne.one thing i enjoy about facebook is the old pictures that friends and fam upload to walk down memory lane together with you.

she is my best babysitter for cate. she takes turns with me putting cate to bed and being her pillow. ain all day the kids hung out at that corner, played on that grass, got drinks out of that hose, went through the secret passage way in the juniper bushes, and only left the area to go "around the block" over and over again. sometimes it was on bikes with banana seats, sometimes roller skates, sometimes big wheels, sometimes walking, even occasionally on skateboards with cardboard boxes on them (our "cars").

i will i will i will i will i will i will. please hold me accountable if you don't see the results posted next week. the inspiration pieces:remember how i was so proud that my room was clean and i was knitting? well, i still am. cause that would make me happy. i had a really tumultuous teenager-hood. i was a happy and smart little kid, it was surprising when so much angst welled up inside me.

Well, my feeling so inspired different boyfriends came and went through all this, some i thought i could marry, some i was mad at myself for hanging around, some that broke my heart. off to the kindergarten valentine's day party.

when cate is too scared to go downstairs, penny will go with her and everything is all right. she lets cate dress her up for weddings or try to ride her or pull her by the tail almost daily. and even knowing the torture she will soon endure, she gets so excited when cate gets home from school. women who have these hormonal issues typically carry alot of weight around the middle (due to the out of control insulin and resultant too high of testosterone) and a high protein and fiber diet combined with low carbs really helps with that. an added benefit is that these types of foods are so filling, and you avoid the highs and crashes that people with blood sugar problems live by.
